Well! I thought about saying four - kind of a two-for-one kind of exchange. But that seemed really pushy or, um, greedy. Which is rude! And self-centered? And I don't want to be rude.
...or self-centered.
Or demanding! Which is actually what I should have said to begin with...
Well... I don't really do much other than work. But then again, there's nothing as important to me as work, either.
I-I don't really know what else to do with my time.
Because... when I was a little girl, I just... did what little girls do. And then with the Organization, I just trained all the time. And then... on the field, I was -- well I'm sure you remember what that life is like, and I only did it for a few months, and then here... you know what I do here.
Um.
Paperwork.
And rounds. And... more paperwork.
I'm babbling.
Um! My point is... I don't know how else to live. Or... what to put in a room. For the first three months here I just slept in the ruins.
As long as we don't go too far out, it shouldn't be-- not that it's actually dangerous. [For either of them, really, but...] ...it would be nicer if we didn't need to kill anything.

I don't have a lot of time. But. Maybe I will!
[...except for how she doesn't want to. Hm.]

[But she doesn't... want to. She pauses.]
But I don't know. Buying time is a little odd to me. I mean on either side. And kind of... creepy, and... I wish you wouldn't. I really do.

I don't want you to go back on your word. I mean, I don't want to be the reason you do something like that, if it makes you uncomfortable.
So. [A little breath.] I guess I'll just have to win.
no subject
[ Double meaning is go! ]
Bet he's feeling smug right now :P
[...she should probably just say what it is.]
[AND YET SHE DOES NOT.]
Maybe. Just a little.
Or a lot. 9_9
[Which she had thought of. ...but she still didn't say it. Hm. So, she nibbles her bottom lip a little.]
Well! If I don't win, will you... give me two hours of your time anyway?

Because I won't object if it's what you want.

You know. I'm not sure what to do with that much time. Are you?

I've always had people telling me what to do.
[...]
Do you really think I... live "lifelessly"?
no subject
But I also believe it is something that can be changed... if you want to change it.

Let's go swimming.
[ It's liberating. In so many different ways. ]
no subject
But going swimming means getting all... wet. For... no reason.
no subject
And telling you defeats the purpose of doing something spontaneous, too...
no subject
[Hm. Then again, thinking about it too much defeats the purpose, right?]
[Although splashing comes to mind.]
Well. I could try swimming.
...I wonder when the snow will start.

For once.
[She laughs a little, quietly.]

Would you like to head out together... or shall we have a little fun and see who gets there first?
