That used to be the way of it, but in truth...there are a handful of people whom I like that aren't useful to me at all, or if they are, it is indirectly and not tied into the reason why I care about them.

Truthfully, it was a seed planted before I arrived here, but it has begun to blossom against my will.

I am. I would prefer not to have such ties. Except for one, I suppose.

I find it admirable that you can love someone so completely even if you, yourself, is twisted.

It doesn't matter what I am, Yaha, she is worth it.

But she thinks you're worth it, too.

I will fight very hard to keep it that way.

I am a little jealous of that...

No one thinks I am worthy to love that much.

That may be because you think very little of yourself.

I know why I do.

Why?

Because I ruin what I love. It's my fault that I lose what it is that I hold. So I don't deserve anything.

I find that rather amusing. You ruin things you hate, too. Funny that the same fate should be shared by both what you love and loath...

[barebacking]

Love and hate is supposed to be separated by a thin line.

[silverking]

So they say. Both are feelings born from passion.

[They had a similar conversation outside the Alliance once, during one of the welcome parties.]

The same sort of passion... it burns until everything is on fire.

You confuse the two too easily, however. The line that exists between those things is not thin with you, Yaha, but blurred beyond recognition.
