I think it was just a poor approach. Wherever did you get the idea of writing a letter in the first place?

A friend told me that I should ask forgiveness from those I love and try to make amends.

Did they.

I suppose they failed to mention that making amends comes well before being granted forgiveness.

They understood that what I do is out of love and sometimes that causes bursts that hurt others.

I wonder if they understood anything at all, or if you only made yourself out to be a victim to garner sympathy.
