Well. She threatened to kill me again.

And then everyone hollered at me about it, which was. Fun. And tiring because this keeps happening.

[silverking]

[His exhale is tinged softly with a chuckle.]

Did you choose to greet her, Priscilla?

[priscilla]

Yes. What does that have to do with anything?

The first time should have been indication enough. Perhaps your expectations were a little too unrealistic? After all...it is Clare. She has a tendency toward unmanageable and willful behavior.

I would advise you to keep your distance from her until things calm down. Allow the others a chance to explain things.

[priscilla]

Not really. I knew how she would react; that's why I tried to talk to her in audio first - I thought maybe it would ease her into her knowledge that I'm... well, here.

You could say I should have ignored her arrival... but then she would have thrown a fit first time she saw me talking talking on the network or ran into me in the streets. So rather than stall the inevitable, I figured we ought to get it done with.

...anyway, I'm not going to try to visit her; I don't even like her.

But that doesn't change the fact that if I threatened someone else's life unprovoked and everyone told them to calm down, that would be as... unjust and absurd as it was tonight.

By the sounds of it, Clare's behavior and the reactions involved were indeed unjust. The situation likely could not have gone another way, however. Even if you meant well, as I am certain you did.

Is it likely the others involved were trying to diffuse hostilities before they escalated on either end? Perhaps it isn't something to take too personally, hm?

[priscilla]

I'm sure that's what they were doing. But it's not right.

...anyway. Raki wants to meet with us once he gets settled and calms down Clare.

If you are relaying messages, tell him that I would be happy to receive him in my own home whenever he is ready.

In the meantime...do you require a distraction?

[priscilla]

I guess you could say I require something.

[she gives her pillow several tiny punches at her side.]
