[...there's a fumbling noise, and then Bing! Video. Priscilla is currently on her bed, in her nightgown, and surrounded by BOOKS. If he looks closely, he may notice the very ones he gave her, along with a copy of the Art of War, some Sherlock Holmes novels, and a journal - currently open to a half-filled page.]
...I was thinking. I had such a wonderful birthday. And a lot of that is because of you.
And then I thought... I should say thank you. I mean, very directly instead of in an implicated kind of way. Because you didn't have to do it, and I bet it's not the kind of thing you normally do... err, do. But you did do it. I know it was Kaien's idea! And I'm really grateful to him too.
But it means a lot coming from you, because you're not the kind of person who does these things. And...
...and now I'm rambling. But I have a lot of books and they're making me wordy. Not that I wasn't... wordy before.
[...wow, ramble city! She takes a little breath.]
Anyway. Thank you.
[She smiles, and somewhere off camera, one of her cats meows.]
It's good that you enjoyed yourself, Priscilla. It was almost entirely Kaien's idea. I am pleased that he agreed to follow through with it when I approached him.
[It's very quiet on Isley's end. He saw those books though. The journal, too. And he idly wonders if Senji's name is scrawled upon that half-written page.]
[Well, it's not important.]
You're welcome, not that you really needed to thank me. Whether or not it is the kind of thing I would normally do, it was necessary in its own way.
And you know very well that I will do what I think needs doing.
...to be honest, birthday celebrations seem a bit strange to me, on the face of it. People keep telling me it's a celebration of people being in each other's lives, but I'm not sure why that has to be celebrated. Everyone is in someone's life, and everyone's life has people in it. And I haven't exactly been a stable presence or, well, peaceful presence in anyone's, especially recently.
...but. I'm still glad to have been there.
Although I'm not sure what to do with a five foot tall metal chicken!
[Voice] Sorry this is so short but it's srsly the only thing he has to say to that... XD
/bothers the silver guy

[It would also be an effective way of covering up the eyesore.]
[Voice] LMAO! There is no length equivalency requirement XD
[She wrinkles her nose.]
Very funny! I wonder if I'm going to end up with a chicken collection even though I don't collect chickens.
